Open Letter to the Chairman

Written by

On July 7, 2025, HitHawk Research addressed a formal letter to Henning Kreke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Douglas AG. We raise serious concerns about the company’s unexplained omission of nearly four decades of its corporate history, covering the years 1931 to 1969.

Archival evidence and inconsistencies in Douglas AG’s own statements strongly suggest that during this period (a) the company’s license partner employed forced labor, and (b) the perfumery itself was expropriated from its legitimate Jewish proprietors. None of these issues are acknowledged in the company’s public history or investor communications to date.

We therefore urge the Supervisory Board to initiate a transparent and independent review.
